Saffron:

One of the most expensive and popular spices in the world. It is also known as red gold or “زعفران” in Arabic. Over 90 percent of the world’s saffron is produced in lran. Spain, India and Greece are other producers of Saffron.

Product:

High quality pushal saffron. Packed in traditional cylindrical glass jars with cork lid and sachets of 0.5 grams inside to keep the freshness. It contains no preservative and additives. Suitable for vegetarian cuisines. No strings around the glass jar at the moment.

Net Weight: Variable

Store condition: Store in dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.

Quality:

Our product is handpicked carefully using old traditional methods and the best threads are separated, packed and imported into the UK.

Taste and Scent:

The amazing strong scent of the saffron is even felt from the sealed sachets. The taste is strong which is why we recommend to use a smaller amount on the first try. To prove the quality and originality of the saffron, just drop a few threads into some hot water that’s close to boiling temperature. You will see that the strong scent rises immediately and the color will fill the glass.

You will notice that the remaining threads will not turn yellow which is the strongest evidence of the high quality of our product.

Other Saffron products:

We also offer the product in 1 gram, 2 grams and 5 grams.
